New Year's Eve on the Chicago River

My older son attended a beautiful party on NYE at the Trump Hotel and took a photo as the fireworks went up from the river. Since he is now jealous of the skyline. I tried a few different ways of presenting the scenery with beads, but it really took trial and error to find the right layout. Knowing when it is time to start over again can sometimes be an artist's best skill. Perfection doesn't always come on the first try, and I am willing to try many different routes to arrive at the best result. I used photography as a background and glass beads hand sewn on canvas fabric (23" x 19" framed)
