I created this one for the Blue Man Group Art Competition to celebrate their 25th year of entertaining. I looked at their performers for inspiration and thought about the shocking blue paint on their skin and the way their matching black outfits don't try to compete with the vibrant color. It is a reminder of how effective color can be when trying to hold the attention of your audience. In our everyday life, we do this with fashion. With beautiful colors, patterns and materials we grab each other's attention just like the woman in this piece. Hand sewn glass beads on fabric and photography as a background (18.5" x 15.5" framed).
